They provide much needed support for conservation work, exhibitions, learning and outreach and the museum&#8217;s operating costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">This in turn will enable visitors, school children and the local community to participate in their heritage. We rely on donations from visitors to the museum and also from legacies and sponsorship.
