Fordingbridge Museum welcomes visitors of all ages, especially families. Children, please bring your parents, carers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and dogs. They might enjoy it as much as you will. There are plenty of things to do. You can challenge the family to a game of shove ha’penny. We have dressing up clothes that you can try. You can even play a tune on our pianola with your feet!
The Museum Mascot, Freddie the Fordingbridge Fish, will guide you to items of interest about the Museum. There are lanyards with talking points about our exhibits and activity ideas available. There are also find-me bags.

The Museum is has limited accessibility as it is on an old granary building on two floors. There is a ramp available for the step at the front door. There is no lift to the upper floor, however we do have an iPad, available on the ground floor, with photos and descriptions of the upper floor exhibits. There is limited room for leaving buggies, but you are welcome to bring buggies inside. There is no café and no public toilets or baby change facilities. However, these are available a short walk away. The nearest Changing Places toilet is in Ringwood car park 5.5 miles away.
