We do not store bank or card payment details.
How We Use Your Information
We use personal data to manage volunteering roles, administer donations and Gift Aid, administer memberships and subscriptions, respond to enquiries, organise events and exhibitions, communicate Museum activities, and maintain required charity records.
Lawful Basis for Processing
We rely on Legitimate Interest for routine administration and communication, Consent for electronic newsletters and identifiable photographs, and Legal Obligation for HMRC and financial record keeping. You may withdraw consent at any time.
How Long We Keep Data
We keep personal data only as long as necessary. Volunteer records are retained while active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Gift Aid and financial records are retained for six years. Enquiry records are retained for as long as relevant to the matter. Data is securely deleted when no longer required.
